ACRYLIC FLOCKING GELS
Flocking Gells by: RENAISANCE INK offer a range of textures. Experimentation is recommended. They can be used to create terrain (rocky, dirt, grass, water) or to texture buildings. Being acrylic based they may be painted once dry OR mixed with acrylic paints for custom pre coloured terrain. At last an alternative to Basetex or Polyfiller! These acrylic based flocking gels are designed for texturing bases, terrain or even the walls of model buildings. They come in coarse, medium, fine and extra fine at the same price per 30ml jar as the paints, with which they will mix for instantly coloured groundwork. Unlike Basetex these gels are not gritty and also allow shaping of the groundwork with little effort; no need to wait until they are nearly dry before creating those effects. Unlike Polyfiller (and similar fillers) they dry quickly and do not seem to lead to warping of bases. A useful product at a reasonable price, and far less messy than flock for finishing off figure bases.
